I NEED MY CHRISTMAS SPIRIT


It's one week until Christmas, but I don't feel like it and I know why. No snow, no Christmas tree yet, the weather is not freezing cold, there is no smell of fresh baked food. One week and I'm going home for the Christmas break, I hope there I will feel more like Christmas. What do you do to feel like the holidays are here? What will you do this weekend?

    since I have a 2 years old son I am trying to make him feel the Xmas atmosphere. I think it' s very important for him. I hope that your christmas feeling will be back soon....

    I agree, the spirit of Christmas seems to be low this year. For me, I get in the festive mood when there are holiday decorations & music around :)

    Not really into the Christmas spirit, either. I mean, if a Christmas song comes on the radio I'll sing along. But I haven't started shopping for gifts. No Christmas lights nor tree set up. Nada. Once you find that spirit, send some my way.

    I feel exactly the same way - once I get a tree up I think it will help, but a little snow would too. I haven't even started shopping either, and I need to bake some treats - all within one week and between working long hours. Ah the joys of the holidays:)

    Come on Tereza....let's get in the spirit! LOL! I've been feeling it since Black Friday. My family is super traditional. Just take one walk around a fab mall's Christmas display and look at the kids crying as they take pics with Santa, lol.
