The past couple of weeks have been so gray for me, that is why, today, on a gray Monday morning, I thought some pastel would cheer me up. I really hope that it will, cuz' I tell you, I could use some color in life, right about now. What do you do when you feel sad and gloomy and nothing makes you smile? Tell me, please, I need some sun and laughter in my life.

great selection, love all places
ReplyDeleteI understand about the past couple weeks being grey. This color palette definitely helps it though.
ReplyDeleteHope will feel better soon!
Always,

When I'm gloomy, I go to the gym, early to bed, get up utterly early and start working like a madman. When things are done, I instantlly feel like a champ :) And then I do some more workout :D ...and maybe buy a new bra.

Love that first photo! The weather here in Paris is quite miserable as well- very grey & it's supposed to snow all day long. I can't wait for Spring to come.

I definitely feel you on this one. Just happened to me today. I think its just me being a woman during that one time of each month where I could kill a polar bear with my bare hands. Nothing cheers me up, Tereza, only a nice bath and some sleep. The more I try to relax and enjoy myself, the more I want to strangle a bear.
ReplyDeleteGet some rest dear, read a book, go rant about something with someone you love, go somewhere alone for a coffee and a smoke. The small things do cheer me up

ReplyDeleteBeautiful..and I have TOO many of those days too Tereza! I will feel how I tell myself to feel and when I start feeling down and depressed like that, I remind myself I am part of a greater purpose and here to be a blessing to those around me. Even if there is no-one around me, I go find someone to bless that day and its always makes me feel better. Sometimes the most I have to offer is just an ear to hear someone elses concerns or take part in their joy! Its never about me..I think thats a key.Instant mood lift! Prayers for JOY today! GREAT inspiration!!!
ReplyDeleteI need some color in my life too. I get seasonal sadness. Not quite Seasonal Depression but some sun, warm temps and COLOR don't hurt.
ReplyDeleteGrey time of your life will pass, I promise! Past 2 years of my life had lots of black, not just grey. The loved one got diagnosed with a deadly decease, my house got flooded, 2 cars went under water etc.. But I keep smiling and believing that good times are ahead of me. My blog is my giveaway, my family, my dogs.... Shopping helps... sometimes:-)
ReplyDeleteKeep your tail up girl!
I do the same, pastels help a lot!

I love these interiors! Especially the first and last one:) Beautiful colors as well.
ReplyDeleteI'd like my room to look a bit more like that. I don't know, the word I've for it is "shredded". These looks a bit sad, but like you are running away from what is sad, and cosy and relaxing. Looking at it again, it's because some of the furniture are really thin like those were skeletons of furniture, and the wallpaper is coming off in one; that and the giant cross-stitch.
