NATURE CALLING

Ladies, when I say "nature calling", I don't mean that... nature calling, I mean inspired by nature, like these beautiful pieces of jewelry from N.Historiae. The texture, the combinations, everything is really impressive, I really love some of these pieces, especially the rings, really interesting designs, fish elements, earth elements and colors, feathers and details of animals.

ODETTE'S WORLD

Today, I have something pretty amazing for you, a young romanian jewelry designer, that shared with us her creations and her ideas. She is Odette and these are her words.

"I create jewelry that aims to overcome purely decorative accessory role, starts with a concept, wants to transmit a certain type of energy and complement the wearer's personality. I mainly work with silver and precious and semiprecious stones. I use symbols as an international form of communication.
The rings are pieces from the Chakras, collection based on the concept of interdependence between the individual and the environment. It emphasizes the link between an outer and inner world, underscores the importance of environmental influences on the individual. According to traditional Indian medicine man communicates with the environment trough chakras. They keep the energy moving, spiritual, emotional, intellectual and physical. The main energy centers, seven in number, are located along the spine. Each chakra is associated with a color; they match the colors of the rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet."

BIG JEWELS

I'm the kind of girl that doesn't like to wear accessories in the summer time, the heat, the sweat, the sticky factor and all that jazz. But now, that fall is here to stay {hopefully} I can take out my additions, I just got two amazing bracelets from my mom, can't wait to show them to you. Until then, I leave you with this awesome selection.

DIAMOND ACCESSORIES

Myia Bonner knows her jewelry, she combines old and new, creating wearable, feminine and elegant accessories. And her signature diamond geometricism is an exploration of materials and processes, witch brings together design and craftsmanship; she is pretty talented, and I would love a diamond necklace to expand my obsession with this shape.

HENRIETTE LOFSROM

Yes to geometric shapes, yes every single time. The creations of Henriette Lofstrom are unique and I am head over heels when it comes to these rings. The necklaces are amazing too, but I'm more of a ring and bracelet kind of girl :).What about you, what's your favorite piece of jewelry?

TARGET GIFT BAG

For some of you that where following my blog last year, maybe you remember my gift bags posts, it's been a while, a long long time and I thought it might time to start doing it again. So, last night, browsing the internet I found the jewelry section at Target and I was really pleased with my findings, that is why I think this perfect for the "gift bag" comeback. So, what do you think?

You all know by know my passion for accessories is pretty big, that is why I have to show you my newest obsession, and her name is Delfina Delettrez. She is an artist that loves to play with jewelry and these are some of the results, something that blow me away. I'm not too big on gold, I'm more attracted to silver, but for a piece from this collection I would make an exception. What do you think?
